The lack of world-building and side character development makes the betrayals and drama from side stories feel sudden, giving me whiplash. Miles just tells readers that they’re in love, and we’re expected to accept that at face value.īecause most of the timelines focus more on understanding the reincarnation rather than the actual romance, the external conflicts have no real weight to them. When they finally discover what it will take to break the cycle, will they be able to make the sacrifice? Review (Minor Spoilers): Their only concern is they never get to see how their story ends. But in each life one thing remains the same: their love and their fight to be together. They’ve even watched humanity take to the stars.
